Cancer Care from Cancer Centre London

Chemotherapy

Chemotherapy drug treatment can be divided into chemotherapy, hormone therapy, immunotherapy and cancer growth inhibitors. At Cancer Centre London, Parkside Hospital and Holly House Private Hospital, we offer our patients the very latest cancer treatments, with the most up to date techniques and advanced drugs. All facilities provide a comfortable, caring and relaxed environment for patients who need to undergo drug therapy for the treatment of their cancer.

We provide the much needed emotional support for the patient and their families during chemotherapy treatment. A patient will be introduced to one of our team of dedicated and specialised oncology nurses who will see them through the course of their therapy. Chemotherapy is used either as a treatment by itself or in combination with radiotherapy. Treatment will be discussed in detail in order to ensure that all patients are fully informed about every aspect of their care.

Radiotherapy

At the Cancer Centre London, radiotherapy is delivered via an Elektra Versa HD system which is one of the most technologically advanced linear accelerators in London, ensuring our Cancer Centre’s position as both a pioneer and market leader.

The system is able to provide advanced treatment regimes such as Image Guided Radiotherapy (IGRT), Intensity Modulated Radiotherapy (IMRT) and Stereotactic Body Radiotherapy (SBRT).

The Centre gives patients access to a wide range of therapies and the most up to date diagnostic facilities and evidence based practice.
